1. Make sure
the DJ / Hall Manager/ Photographer etc. all have the
same itinerary.
2. Keep the
reception fast paced. People may get tired if things drag.
3. Limit the
amount of festivities to help keep the wedding moving.
4. Get the
announcements and events out of the way early in the
reception.
5. Make sure
you inform the DJ if anyone will be speaking publicly.
6. Be sure to
check with the Hall Manager to see how early the DJ can
set up.
7. Think of
the music the people at the reception will want to hear.
8. Remember,
you can only squeeze in about 15 songs an hour.
9. Please give
the final music list to Akron Area DJs within 2 weeks of
the event.
10. Stay on
time!
